Rheumatoid arthritis, the most common form of arthritis causes inflammation of the tissue present in the joints and other organs of the body. Rheumatoid arthritis or popularly known as RA is an autoimmune diseases that occurs when the body tissues are erroneously attacked by our own immune system considering it to as a foreign matter or particles. The investigation and estimation depends upon the aggravation of symptoms, the blood and X-ray findings and the degree of inflammation. It generally begins amid the age group of 30 and 50 years and is more frequent in women and habitual smokers.
